FCI & DCU

The Fault Circuit Indicator (FCI) is a significant equipment of the Smart Grid to detect short circuit and grounding faults. Installation of the FCI on distribution grids will help to immediately report the faults to the nearest smart gateway and/or RTU in order to “detect” & “locate” the faults in a short time. Each FCI is equipped with LED and a rotary red flag to assist the maintenance crew.
